Hawthorne Wants YOU! There are as many ways to be involved as there are parents, so let us know what you’d like to do. Volunteer jobs are available before school, during school hours, after school, evenings, and from home at your convenience. You might want to work with an after-school club, help in the media center, work directly with your child’s teacher as a room parent, socialize with other parents as you help with an event like movie night or the book fair, or use the in-between moments at your desk to make phone calls. Whatever your interests and schedule, it’s important to your child and to the school that you be an involved Hawthorne parent!
